Civil Litigation

Throughout our history we have developed relationships with a range of clients from company and commercial organisations to partnerships & private individuals, and we have catered for their needs in the litigation field throughout.

We do not deal with criminal matters, preferring to leave that area of the law
to those with expertise in that field.  In the matters of civil litigation,
we offer advice and experience in the following areas:

1. Commercial disputes;
2. Contract disputes;
3. Landlord and Tenant issues (both domestic and commercial);
4. Personal injury claims arising from motor accidents, workplace accidents and the like;
5. Debt collection;
6. Issues arising out of employment.

One of our Partners is a Member of the Association of Personal Injury
Lawyers and we have a history of dealing with both straightforward and
difficult claims, including fatal accident claims.  We also have experience
of professional negligence claims in relation to other Solicitors, Surveyors
and Valuers, Accountants and other professionals.  Please note that we do
not undertake claims arising out of clinical injury.

In relation to litigation claims, we are able to offer Conditional Fee
Agreements in appropriate circumstances and in other cases,
where appropriate, we are prepared to agree that our fees are paid on a
monthly basis by standing order.

Our objective is always to achieve for our clients, whether corporate or
individual, an appropriate and just settlement either by negotiation or by a
determination from the Court.  It is always our intention to represent our clients objectively, robustly and properly in an increasingly complex and litigious environment.
